Offsite Backup Security

The figure below illustrates the various points where data is encrypted during the backup process. As shown, data is initially encrypted on the client PC, then transmitted in an encrypted format, and stored on encrypted servers. This service is HIPAA compliant and meets regulation standards necessary for storage of medical, legal and accounting records. Further, the backup client application is not visible from the internet, there is no risk of the application being abused or exploited to access your files.
